The door knocker’s primary function in life is to say “Hello! I'm here”. Think of all the energies both warm, welcoming and at times surprising that these little ornate pieces of hardware bring forth with every use. We think of these symbolically as a token of greeting the world with grace and welcoming opportunities inside your door.
After each artifact or specimen has been discovered it is sent through a careful restoration process before being used in a design. If a particularly unique patina is found to add design value to an artifact, it's preserved & sealed to ensure its longevity & protection.
