Moonstone, also called hecatolite, is foremost a talisman of the inward journey- finding out what is missing and bringing it to light. It offers protection for travelers, a gift of passion for lovers, a channel for prophecy, and a path to wisdom. Many ancient cultures including the Romans and Hindus believed this illuminating stone stored the light of the moon, hence its name. Use this stone in accordance with the lunar cycle to help achieve your highest manifestations and bring yourself back into balance.
Also known as the dragon's heart, this deep red and sturdy stone is commonly associated with creativity, sensuality & Strength. Garnet represents the primordial fire, the creation of the world out of chaos, purification & love but we prepared it is also the stone of strong, intense feeling.
In keeping with 1888’s company mission to educate and preserve vintage & antique historical works, we occasionally decide that some things are better left as they are!
