1888 Nate's Take: The more experiences I have the more I realize that those around me have the same struggles...the same challenges and dilemmas and we all share the sentiment that it's not always easy...but it's is beautiful.
For thousands of years, turquoise has been prized as a symbol of wisdom, nobility, and immortality. In many Native American cultures, it represents the great spirit in the sky and is often referred to as the Sky Stone. It’s believed that if a crack forms in the stone, it has taken the injury for its wearer.
~Indian Head Cent~
Most don’t realize that the image on this incredible coin was modeled after the Greco-roman Statue of the Goddess Venus Accroupie & adorned in a Native American headdress of eagle feathers. Things are not always what they seem, a second look or deeper study can often reveal an unexpected truth & a deeper understanding.
Native Americans have long believed that wearing an arrowhead, as a talisman is a symbol of protection, courage, and strength. Plus, It's always handy to have an extra should you need it.
