1888 Nate's Take: "Take me to your river...that flow that never runs backward...that knows...that heals...let me bath in its every changing depth...take me to your infinite combinations of infinite experience. It is a certainty that we can never live the same moment twice...the only constant is the changing waters...but a curiosity that should last our entire lifetime, the one that brings familiarity to what is new must persist...seek and release...seek and release over and over and over again. I promise you will learn to swim."
~Amethyst~
The name comes from the Koine Greek amethystos "not" and methysko "intoxicate". Traditionally worn to guard against drunkenness & restore a sober mind.
~Crown~
Most commonly representative of Royalty. A crown symbolizes power, glory, immortality & sovereignty. Throughout history, this royal adornment was made using materials that represented those aspects of a monarchs life deemed most important. Western and oriental crowns were mostly made of precious metals & gemstones but could also be as simple as a ring of flowers or colorful feathers.
After each artifact or specimen has been discovered it is sent through a careful restoration process before being used in a design. If a particularly unique patina is found to add design value to an artifact, it's preserved & sealed to ensure its longevity & protection.
