One of a Kind

Reimagined Components: Vintage Mother Mary pendant and vintage one Centavo Philipinas coin with United States of America on the obverse side strung on 17" 3mm gun metal box chain.

1888's Take: "We assuredly influence each other in ways we may not easily recognize. I was recently at a celebration of life for a close family member and when I stood up to speak I felt all of these memories flooding from my heart that I had forgotten about. They then led to other memories, many of which were about the people in the audience and I suddenly felt a connected web between us all. Don't take for granted the little moments we share, or try to influence someone's life with a heavy hand. Just existing with and beside someone will often be enough to influence the path of their lives' in tandem with yours. I think that's what we are suppose to do- play a role in each other's lives and responsibly so. The bad will resonate as well as the good, so, try to keep a gentle but wise hand as we'll dive in and out of one another's existences." - Nathan

 ~Virgin Mary~

In some translations, it is thought that the Virgin Mary held such a powerful sense of intuition, such a profound belief in what was to come, that she attracted the attention of the outer consciousness of the universe, which evidently led to the miraculous birth of Jesus Christ. Mother Mary symbolizes motherly love, intuition, and brings forth great miracles.

~One Centavo Philipinas coin~

The One Centavo of 1937 -- 1944 The obverse was designed by Filipino artist Melicio Figueroa and engraved by U.S. Mint Chief Engraver Charles Barber. You will find a young Filipino male seated next to an anvil holding a hammer in his right hand, his left arm raised. In the background to his left is a billowing volcano. The obverse carries the inscriptions "One Centavo" and "Filipinas" (Spanish for Philippines).
