1888's Take: "Finding home. I couldn't help but feel the story of these symbols immediately after designing it. The star guides us home...the arrow sets the course and the key a symbol of our means of transport. This necklace should be worn as a symbol of having found or being on a path towards finding home."

Idaho is a treasure chest of wild and unexpected beauty. From personal experience the most breathtaking night sky I have ever seen was stepping outside my van in the around 3 am to our brilliant sparkling Milky Way galaxy painted like a great swath of iridescent brilliance across the sky. It was as if the universe itself has picked up a paintbrush and painted us into existence that very moment…I was in Bruneau dunes state park on a road trip with my friend Tristan and to this day I’ve never seen anything like it.

~License Plate Keys – Disabled American Veteran~

“In 1941 the Disabled American Veterans created these keychains from a database of actual license plate numbers and sent them off in the mail asking for a donation. The hope was that the person would attach the key chain to their ring and if and when the keys were ever lost, the license plate tag would only need to be dropped into a mail box to find it’s way back to its owner. It was the hope of the Disabled American Veterans charity that the gesture would further encourage the owner to make a donation.”

An arrow knows where it will land the moment it is let loose. Once the archer releases, there is no second chance. At birth we all begin a journey with our inner arrow guiding the way, so follow your arrow, feel the wind in your hair & enjoy the ride!

Our imaginations have been captivated by the stars since the first sentient human looked up and wondered what those iridescent glowing orbs could possibly be. The five-pointed star has been found on mason jars dating back to 3100 B.C.E uncovered North of Thebes in Egypt. It's been etched onto ancient Mesopotamian tablets dating back to 3200 B.C.E.What makes the Star such a prolific symbol across human culture? Perhaps, it’s close association to the heavens or its perfect Pythagorean geometry. It represents hope, serves as a guiding light to show us the way home and so much more..."

~Keys~ (Automobile)

Few things turn our heads faster than the rev of a powerful engine or the site of James Dean against his 1953 MG TD sports car or his 1955 Triumph Tiger  T110 650 cc motorcycle. A car can say a lot and its paired key a small representation of who you are. Keys are incredible symbols of opportunity and dreams while Auto keys specifically can really dig into your desires.

After each artifact or specimen has been discovered it is sent through a careful restoration process before being used in a design. If a particularly unique patina is found to add design value to an artifact, it's preserved & sealed to ensure its longevity & protection.
