Reimagined Components: Antique spent 9mm Luger bullet casing with coyote canine and two silver arrows strung on a 24'' soft black leather cord
1888's Take: "It's not uncommon to be presented with two different paths in life, in fact it probably happens to most of us on a daily basis. In order to keep peace and relieve ourselves from the stress of choosing the right path, remember that life comes with an infinite amount of choices and it's not so much about making the right decision, as it is to just simply make a decision. Stay optimistic, light hearted, and know that things will be okay, whichever path you choose to walk."
Bullets symbolize a strong resolve and preparedness for life’s challenges, but 1888’s favorite and intended meaning is that the bullet you wear is the one that was intended for you. Wearing it around your neck gives you back the ability to control your own destiny & doubles as a symbol of protection.
Coyotes in Native American folklore often represent hidden wisdom and a strong sense of humor!
~Claws, Teeth, Bones~
The claws, teeth, and bones of wild animals have historically been worn as symbols of prowess & social standing. Deep admiration was given to those who could kill the most fearsome of beasts. It's no longer a necessity for most of us to hunt for our survival, so the wearing of claws, teeth, & bones has become symbolic of overcoming great obstacles despite our fears, and connecting with our inner animal as we charge forth the evolution of the spirit.
An arrow knows where it will land the moment it is let loose. Once the archer releases, there is no second chance. At birth we all begin a journey with our inner arrow guiding the way, so follow your arrow, feel the wind in your hair & enjoy the ride!
